Our engineers closely collaborate with each other and with our clients to meet their needs and provide better, long-lasting solutions. Our services include Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system designs. They cover a wide spectrum of projects, including power projects, hotels, residential complexes, educational and institutional buildings, healthcare centers, and government facilities.
HVAC System
Our team goal is maintaining the dry bulb and relative humidity within the suitable performance range under climatic conditions in accordance to project location and requirements.
The following steps are involved in HVAC load calculations:
- Data gathering from building plans and specifications, building location, orientation shading characteristics, building dimensions, type of building material and internal load profiles are all required for the subsequent calculations.
- Selection of indoor and outdoor design condition based on the project location and its country weather conditions.
- Calculation of heat transfer coefficients.
- Calculation of space cooling load
- Calculation of space heating load
- Psychrometric analysis
There are several computerized programs available for HVAC calculations, verified program will be used as project requirements and client recommendations.
Fire Protection System
The fire protection measures are provided to ensure:
- Personnel protection
- Material protection (damage minimization)
- Environmental protection
These safety goals are achieved by means of provisions implemented in the process design as well as through structural fire protection provisions incorporated into the civil engineering.
Fire Hydrant system description and design guidelines as mentioned in the following points:
The outdoor hydrant system (Hydrant Ring Main) is executed in a loop around the entire project building area. To ensure the reliability of the firefighting water supply, the hydrant ring main is provided with underground sectional valves.
The hydrant ring main is fed via two distribution pipes from the firefighting pump arrangement situated in pump house via branch pipes.
Outdoor wet barrel hydrants equipped with hose cabinets are provided along the hydrant ring main. Each pillar hydrant can be isolated separately by its own underground isolation valve.
The indoor hydrant systems and connected stationary fire extinguishing systems are supplied via branch distribution lines from the hydrant ring main. Each indoor hydrant system can be separated by a building isolation valve. Each building, with larger areas and/or several stores, equipped with indoor hydrants are as well equipped with Siamese connections.
The above-mentioned design concept is prepared in accordance to fire protection system relative international standards and its subjected to client and country fire protection regulations.
